If you were wondering: The reasons for the Date Change

1. So we would not compete with July's Lucky Days, Grantsburg's Water Cross, Chisago County Fair, Stillwater Days and others
2. The heat has been too much in July
3. Our tourism businesses on both sides of the river can participate more in the event
4. We will have our own weekend with little competition from other events
5. A committee of representatives from both St Croix Falls and Taylors Falls spent 18 months working on this positive date change
